[ More shuffling, with the background noise starting to get louder as she turns into a street that's bustling with more activity compared to the alleyway she'd just found herself in. And while she's not deliberately avoiding his question, an NPC soon comes into her view that she drops it in favor of hailing the stranger. ]

Excuse me, where is the Proxy Hotel? [ A beat, and then the person must not have understood her, because she shifts to Norwegian. ] Hvor er Proxy Hotel? Denne... denne. [ She sounds further away, so she must be showing her phone or something.

A moment later, she's back, and she sighs in exasperation. ] Whatever they're speaking here, it's neither of our languages. I might as well be talking to Bob. [ You know, that Minion with the teddy bear? Of course she knows that franchise. Agnes loves unicorn. ]

[ He's quiet as he listens to her and everything going on through the phone to try and get a sense of her movements. Also trying to hear whatever she might be told on her end through the open line. It's not that he forgot that she'd not answered his question yet, but at the same time the first step is to get to her, or her to him.

Once they're together again, then he'll insist she answer his question regarding her side. Because he in concerned about how bad she's hurting. Neither of them are healing like they would have in their first life, or well her second technically. And after everything he's far more protective than he probably should be, but he can't help it either.

A soft growl leaves him when she comes back, offering that the language of the natives isn't something either will understand. Because really, that's just perfect. ] So we're stuck god knows how many blocks away, with minions running the show. [ Yes, he's well aware of that movie too, and the franchise, so he gets the reference easily. ] Do you want to try and stay and me come to you so we don't push your side too much more? [ Yes, he's still worried about your side. Maybe if she stays put and he tries to figure out the streets, he can work this out. His chest aches, but it doesn't pull with steps and movements the way the side would. ]

We're not in your dreamscape again, are we? [ Because all the neon and the Minion gibberish? Very trippy. Though if they were in his dreamscape, she'd have been able to conjure things by now. Alas, she has no godmodding powers here — wherever here even is.

She sighs. ] Ja, I think that's for the best. [ She might be able to out-stubborn him, but that's going to be one hell of a fight and she doesn't have the energy for that right now. ] Wait, let me just... send you some more pictures.

[ She snaps a few more shots of her immediate surroundings. Hopefully, he'll be able to narrow down her location somehow. She'll feel much better once they're together again. ]

My dreamscape can get a little off the wall and anime ish but I'm pretty sure this isn't the dreamscape. I wouldn't have both of us injured if it were. [ Because at least that he'd be able to kind of control, maybe. They'd be whole, or at least a lot further along in the healing. And they'd be together, not far apart.

He takes a look at the photos she sent him as he nods, not that she can see it. ] Okay, I'm going to try and find you, I think one of the buildings looks a little familiar around the corner in front of me.

[ There are soft comments as he wanders the street as he tries to find her, to find where the photos were taking. It's not long before she might finally see him down the street, one hand resting over his wound. Walking hasn't been great for it, but his is a little less intense than hers, so it makes sense for him to do the travelling. ]

You know that's not how it works. [ Or, well, he probably doesn't know. She's the Valkyrie here, even if she doesn't remember much about that life just yet. ]

I'll wait under this large neon sign. [ One more photo for him, just to be sure. ] I hope you're not too far, I don't want you overexerting yourself. [ Says the girl who's probably more injured than he is, if the way she's talking and pausing between words is any indication.

She gives him a small wave with the hand not pressing into her side when he comes into view. ]

Thank God. Let me see your wound.

[ Patient first, always. ]

You have more experience with this than I do. [ He has no qualms with acknowledging that he doesn't know something she would. It's natural for Valkyries to have different abilities than the gods. He's guessing though, so please let him know.

He takes a look at the photo as he moves to find the sign out in the street, and he doesn't get to answer her before they finally reunite. And while she asks to see his wound, he catches her to bring her into a gentle hug as he presses a kiss to her temple. ]

My wound is okay, but you look like you need to rest. How bad are you hurting?

[ She's his top priority. ]
